We have a very long list of clients, going back more years than we care to remember. The following is a selection:

Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency. ARPANSA called us in to help mentor when they were undertaking a redesign of the information architecture for their website. We helped them identify appropriate activities. We then assisted them conduct user research, and apply the research to card-sorting and initial design sessions. We also helped them by writing a new web style guide to meet their needs. The new site will go live in 2007, with an increased focus on meeting the needs of a broader audience.

Major retailer Coles Myer has a commitment to staff and customer safety. They asked us to conduct a review of their safety documentation. As part of that process, we visited several staff locations, and identified some key improvements that could be made to enhance the utility of the safety materials. In particular, we identified the need to redesign some key forms. We helped redesign the forms to make them easier to complete, and usability tested them to ensure we had reduced the complexity.

Australian Centre for the Moving Image. At ACMI, we undertook user and business needs analyses, conducted design sessions, developed wireframes and information architecture, and usability tested the site through prototype stages prior to release. Carolyn Guerin from ACMI said that: 'Information & Design has helped us to focus our design efforts on the needs of our users.'

Telstra. We have undertaken a large number of projects for Telstra, including redesign of the Online Billing system, usability testing of various components of the website, as well as work on non-web products such as hardware kits for ADSL. More recently, we conducted usability analyses and usability testing of intranet search engines.

AFL. We undertook the redesign of the information architecture for this site, with a focus on user experience and on the ability to archive and maintain valuable historical data.

Privacy Victoria. We conducted reviews and usability tests for Privacy Victoria's website. We also reviewed and tested the paper form used by citizens to lodge complaints about breaches of privacy.

State Revenue Office. We assisted the State Revenue Office to undertake a radical redesign of the website with a view to improving access for citizens. Support calls were radically reduced as a result of the redesign.

ANZ. We conducted several training courses for developers and business analysts, and also reviewed several internal applications for this bank.

Ekit. Leanne Rowe from ekit said that 'Working with Information & Design to improve the usability of our interfaces has been both productive and educational...
