Specification

Requirements

  • Windows 95 (Version B or later recommended), Windows 98
  • 20 MB available disk space
  • Monitor resolution 800x600 or better
  • CD-ROM drive (for CD version only - not required for download version)

Limits

  • Number of categories: Up to 20
  • Number of items per category: Limited only by available memory
  • Number of participants per test: Limited only be available memory
  • Number of attempts allowed to find each item: Up to 3

Input file format

Classified reads the classification scheme from a standard text file. You can produce such files in any text editor or word processing package.

The file must be set out in a particular format; this is described in details in the online help, and a sample file is shipped with Classified. The following is an example:

Output file format

Classified writes evaluation results to a comma-separated-values (CSV) file. These files can be opened in spreadsheet, word-processing, or text editing programs. The file contains the following information:

  • Participant number
  • Item name
  • Actual Location
  • First Attempt
  • Second Attempt
  • Third Attempt

The following is an example:
