Templates

Review Assistant uses templates to specify the 'principles' against which issues can be logged, and to build the contents of the checklist. Templates are text files, and it is relatively easy to create your own (typically by modifying an existing one) to suit your individual requirements. There is more detailed information in the Help file with Review Assistant.

As standard, Review Assistant is shipped with two templates - one for conducting usability reviews of websites, and one for conducting reviews of retail premises (stores).

The templates are in plain text format and can be edited in notepad, Word, or similar.

Quentin Limbourg has written a French language template, which you can download. Note that some of the text is hard-coded, so the resulting report will still be partially in English.
